I've been playing the First Act Discovery guitar that my wife bought for my six year old son, and frankly enjoying it very much. I would buy a ukulele, but I think my wife would throw me and my instruments out of the house...

I don't think I got it.

E-Kvetcher-

That is a fantastic mental image. Thank you.

Also, and I just have to get this out there bc someone has to say it - we can all agree that Bob Dylan was a musical icon. But the man was very very bitter.

I can't stand 99 percent of dylan's performances, but I LOVE 99 percent of his songs as covered by others...

Having said that - here's one that's pretty good. Maggie's Farm

Exactly! Dylan's songs are brilliant, but the man sings like the entire song is just a set-up for him to prove how cleverly he knows how to rhyme. It drives me absolutely insane.

E-Kvetcher-
Thanks for the link; I have two versions of that song on my computer.

Tobie-
That's becase the man can't actually sing, so has to sort of act out his lyrics.

LNM-
You're welcome.

Yes, I see that the reply goes to

" Miri noreply-comment@blogger.com"

I guess that's the bit bucket.

If you would email me, I can send you that reply. It's not something that I care to post, but it's not that important. Have a Happy 4th, even in Israel.

Here's another good song that sounds even better as a cover, though I can't seem to find it on the Internet. If you can get a hold of it, get the Cowboy Junkies cover of If You Gotta Go
